Synopsis – What to Expect from “Oceans Rising”
Oceans Rising is a 2017 disaster film that follows the story of a group of unlikely heroes who must come together to save the world from a devastating flood caused by melting polar ice caps.
The movie begins with a news broadcast that reports on the increasing temperatures of the polar ice caps, and how the melting ice is causing sea levels to rise. The broadcast warns of the potential for catastrophic flooding if the melting continues.
We then meet our main characters: Jake, a former Navy SEAL, and his old friend, Dr. Emma Watson. Jake and Emma are working on a project to create a machine that will help reduce the effects of the rising sea levels. However, they are met with resistance from the government and the military who want to keep the project a secret.
Meanwhile, a powerful storm is brewing in the Atlantic Ocean. As the storm intensifies, it causes a massive tidal wave that threatens to destroy the entire east coast of the United States. Jake and Emma realize that their machine is the only hope for stopping the wave and saving the world.
With the help of a rag-tag team of scientists, engineers, and Navy SEALS, Jake and Emma race against time to complete their project and save the world. As the wave gets closer and closer, they must fight against the odds and prove that their machine can work.
