Synopsis/Plot
Obsessed is a 2009 American psychological thriller film directed by Steve Shill and written by David Loughery. It stars Idris Elba, Beyoncé Knowles, Ali Larter, and Bruce McGill.
The film follows Derek Charles (Elba), a successful asset manager who is happily married to Sharon (Knowles) and has a young son. However, his life is disrupted when he is stalked and harassed by Lisa (Larter), a temp worker at his office. Lisa begins to pursue Derek and eventually threatens to ruin his life and career if he doesn’t return her affections.
Derek’s life quickly spirals out of control as Lisa’s obsession with him grows more and more dangerous. He must do everything he can to protect his family and his career, while also trying to save Lisa from her own destructive behavior.
