Synopsis – What to Expect from “Now Is Good”
Now Is Good is a 2012 British romantic drama directed by Ol Parker and starring Dakota Fanning, Jeremy Irvine, Paddy Considine, Olivia Williams, and Kaya Scodelario.
The movie tells the story of Tessa Scott (Dakota Fanning), a seventeen-year-old girl who has been diagnosed with leukemia and is determined to make the most of her remaining time. Against her parents’ wishes, she decides to make a list of all the things she wants to do before she dies, including losing her virginity, stealing a car, and skydiving.
As she checks off each item on the list, she meets Adam (Jeremy Irvine), a young man who is also struggling with his own issues. Despite their differences, the two form a bond and fall in love. But as Tessa’s cancer progresses, she must decide whether to continue living life to the fullest or to accept her fate.
The movie follows Tessa and Adam’s journey as they discover the importance of living life to the fullest, no matter how short it may be.
