Synopsis – What to Expect from “Nina Forever”
Nina Forever is a British horror-romance movie released in 2015. It follows the story of Rob (Cian Barry), a young man trying to move on from the death of his girlfriend Nina (Fiona O’Shaughnessy). Rob falls in love with a co-worker, Holly (Abigail Hardingham), and the two decide to take their relationship to the next level.
However, Rob soon discovers that Nina is not gone forever. Whenever he and Holly make love, Nina appears, a bloody and broken version of herself, and interrupts them. This puts a strain on the relationship between Rob and Holly, as Holly struggles to understand why Nina’s ghost appears and how to help Rob move on from his past.
Rob and Holly decide to seek help from a medium, who reveals that Nina’s ghost is a manifestation of her pain and anger over her death. She is stuck in limbo, and will only move on when Rob is able to forgive her for her death.
