Synopsis – What to Expect from “Nighthawks”
Nighthawks is a 1981 crime action film starring Sylvester Stallone and Rutger Hauer. The movie follows two New York City cops, Deke DaSilva (Sylvester Stallone) and Matthew Fox (Rutger Hauer), who are assigned to the Nighthawks division, a special unit that deals with the city’s most dangerous criminals.
When a notorious international terrorist named Wulfgar (Persis Khambatta) arrives in New York, the Nighthawks are tasked with tracking her down. With the help of a streetwise informant named Hawk (Lindsay Wagner), the two cops quickly discover that Wulfgar is planning a major terrorist attack on the city.
The Nighthawks must race against the clock to find Wulfgar and prevent her from carrying out her plan. As they get closer to their quarry, they must also contend with a powerful criminal organization that is determined to protect the terrorist at any cost.
In the end, the Nighthawks must face off against Wulfgar and her henchmen in a thrilling showdown in order to save the city. With their courage and determination, they manage to outwit their enemies and save the day. In the aftermath of their victory, the Nighthawks are hailed as heroes.
