Synopsis/Plot
Night School is a 2018 American comedy film directed by Malcolm D. Lee and written by Kevin Hart and Harry Ratchford. The film stars Kevin Hart, Tiffany Haddish, Rob Riggle, Taran Killam, Romany Malco, Ben Schwartz, Yvonne Orji, and Mary Lynn Rajskub.
The film follows a group of misfits who are forced to attend adult classes in the long-shot chance they’ll pass the GED exam. Teddy Walker (Kevin Hart) is a successful salesman whose life takes an unexpected turn when he accidentally blows up his place of employment. Forced to attend night school to get his GED, Teddy soon finds himself dealing with a group of misfit students, his former high school nemesis, and a feisty teacher who doesn’t think he’s too bright.
With the help of his teacher, his fellow students, and his friend, Teddy embarks on a journey of self-betterment and self-discovery as he works to pass the GED exam and get his life back on track. Along the way, he learns some valuable lessons about responsibility, friendship, and following your dreams.
