Synopsis – What to Expect from “Nice Dreams”
Nice Dreams is a 1981 comedy directed by John Landis and starring Cheech and Chong. The movie follows the misadventures of two stoners, Cheech and Chong, as they attempt to make a living selling marijuana.
The movie starts with Cheech and Chong living in a van and selling marijuana in the streets of Los Angeles. They soon get into trouble with the police and are forced to move to a new location. After a few unsuccessful attempts, they finally find a place to set up shop.
Cheech and Chong soon become the talk of the town, and their business starts to take off. However, they soon find themselves in trouble with the law again, and they are forced to go on the run.
The duo makes their way to a small town in the middle of nowhere, where they meet a mysterious old man who offers them a job. The old man promises them a large sum of money if they can grow and sell marijuana in the town.
Cheech and Chong accept the offer and set up shop in the old man’s barn. They soon find themselves in the middle of a marijuana-growing operation, and they have to deal with the local law enforcement and the competition from the other dealers in town.
As they struggle to make ends meet, Cheech and Chong also find themselves falling in love with a local girl. The two must fight to keep their business afloat and their relationship alive.
