Netflix didn’t let go of its roots completely. The Netflix DVD rental program is mailing DVDs of your choice to your doorstep.
Once you are done watching, mail it back to them. That, too, is for no additional charge.
Find out more about the rental program and how to set up your Netflix DVD queue for your favorite titles.
What Is Netflix DVD Rental Program?
Netflix offers a DVD and Blu-ray rental plan along with its streaming service. By signing up for the program, you can rent movies and TV shows that aren’t available on their streaming platform.
The titles you choose will be delivered to you over the mail within 1–3 business days, and once you finish watching them, you can return them over the mail.
You must pay for the subscription plan but do not have to worry about shipping or return fees.
What Are Netflix’s DVD Rental Plans?
Netflix provides 2 DVD rental programs
- Standard – At $7.99 per month
- Premium – At $11.99 per month
Both plans let you choose from their complete DVD libraries. No late fees are associated with either of these plans, and you can cancel your subscription anytime.
This is how it works. The standard plan costs $7.99 monthly and delivers one movie or TV series to your door. A month later, you can return it and get a new title.
However, if you go for the Premium plan, you can get two titles delivered to your doorstep for $11.99.
If you are unsure which plan to choose, you can try out Netflix DVD rental for free for the first month.
