Synopsis/Plot
National Lampoon’s Loaded Weapon 1 is a 1993 American comedy film directed by Gene Quintano, and starring Emilio Estevez, Samuel L. Jackson, and Tim Curry. The film follows two police detectives, Jack Colt (Estevez) and Wes Luger (Jackson), as they attempt to solve a murder case involving a powerful drug lord.
The film opens with the two detectives being assigned to investigate the murder of a DEA agent. They soon discover that the drug lord responsible for the murder is a mysterious figure known only as “The General”. In order to bring him to justice, they enlist the help of a former Army Ranger, Sgt. Monix (Curry). With Monix’s help, they are able to locate The General’s hideout and infiltrate it in an attempt to capture him.
Meanwhile, The General has hired a hitman, Mr. Jigsaw (William Shatner), to eliminate the detectives. Jigsaw pursues them relentlessly, leading to a number of action-packed sequences. The detectives eventually capture The General and put an end to his criminal activities.
