Mystic Pizza is a 1988 romantic comedy-drama set in Mystic, Connecticut. It tells the story of three teenage girls who work in a pizza parlor in the small town. Daisy Araujo (Julia Roberts) is the daughter of Portuguese immigrants who works at the pizza parlor as a waitress. Her two best friends, Jojo (Lili Taylor) and Kat (Annabeth Gish), also work at the parlor.
The movie follows the girls as they navigate their way through the summer before they go off to college.
