Synopsis/Plot
My Super Ex-Girlfriend is a 2006 romantic comedy starring Uma Thurman, Luke Wilson, and Eddie Izzard. The movie follows Matt Saunders (Wilson), an average New York City architect, who unexpectedly finds himself in a complicated relationship with a superheroine, Jenny Johnson (Thurman). After meeting Jenny at a bar, Matt quickly falls in love with her, unaware that she is secretly the superhero G-Girl.
Jenny soon reveals her true identity to Matt, and the two begin a tumultuous relationship. While Matt is initially enthralled with Jenny’s superhuman abilities, he soon finds himself overwhelmed by her possessiveness and jealous outbursts. After Jenny nearly destroys Matt’s apartment in a jealous rage, Matt decides he has had enough and breaks up with her.
Enraged, Jenny uses her powers to exact revenge on Matt, wreaking havoc on his life. With the help of his best friend Vaughn (Izzard), Matt must find a way to stop Jenny before she destroys everything he holds dear.
