Synopsis/Plot
My Spy is a 2020 American action comedy film directed by Peter Segal and written by Jon and Erich Hoeber. The film stars Dave Bautista, Kristen Schaal, Parisa Fitz-Henley, Chloe Coleman, and Ken Jeong.
The story follows JJ, a hardened CIA operative who is assigned to watch over a nine-year-old girl named Sophie who lives with her mother and brother. In order to protect Sophie and her family from a dangerous arms dealer, JJ must go undercover as a family nanny. But when Sophie discovers JJ’s true identity, she uses her intelligence and wit to convince him to teach her the art of espionage.
As JJ and Sophie form an unlikely bond, they team up to take down the arms dealer and save the day. Along the way, JJ learns to appreciate the importance of family and the value of friendship.
