Synopsis – What to Expect from “My Fake Fiance”
My Fake Fiance is a romantic comedy released in 2009. It follows the story of Melissa and Vince, two strangers who are both in desperate need of money. In order to help each other out, they decide to pretend to be engaged and enter into a fake marriage.
Melissa is a struggling fashion designer who is in need of money to launch her own clothing line. Vince is an unemployed gambler who needs money to pay off his debts. In order to get the money they need, they concoct a plan to pretend to be engaged and enter into a fake marriage. They agree to split the money 50/50.
At first, Melissa and Vince’s plan seems to be going smoothly. They fool Melissa’s wealthy father and get the money they need. But things start to get complicated when they discover that they have both fallen in love with each other.
The two must now decide whether to keep up the charade or risk everything and confess their true feelings. Along the way, they must also deal with Vince’s jealous ex-girlfriend and Melissa’s disapproving father.
