Synopsis – What to Expect from “My Blind Brother”
My Blind Brother is a 2016 romantic comedy that follows the story of Robbie (Adam Scott) and Bill (Nick Kroll), two brothers who are complete opposites. Robbie is a successful athlete and Bill is his blind brother who is constantly in his shadow.
The story begins with the two brothers taking part in a charity swim race, which Robbie wins, as usual. After the race, the brothers meet Rose (Jenny Slate), a young woman who is instantly attracted to Robbie. Rose and Robbie quickly become friends and Bill is left feeling jealous and insecure.
Things become more complicated when Rose and Robbie begin to develop feelings for each other. Bill is overwhelmed by the idea of his brother finding love and is determined to sabotage their relationship. He begins to manipulate Rose and Robbie, and uses his disability as a way to make himself look more sympathetic.
Meanwhile, Robbie and Rose’s relationship continues to grow, and they soon realize that their feelings are real. Bill is determined to make sure they don’t stay together and comes up with a plan to keep them apart.
The movie follows the brothers as they struggle to deal with their complicated relationship. In the end, Robbie and Rose must decide if they are willing to fight for their love or if Bill’s manipulations have done too much damage.
