Synopsis – What to Expect from “Music”
Music is an upcoming musical drama film directed by Sia and starring Kate Hudson, Maddie Ziegler, and Leslie Odom Jr.
The story follows Zu (Maddie Ziegler), a young girl who is struggling to cope with the death of her mother. She has been taken in by her grandmother, played by Kate Hudson, who is trying to help Zu with her grief. Zu is a talented dancer, but her grandmother does not understand her passion. Zu’s only escape is through music, and she finds solace in the underground music scene.
On one of her adventures, Zu meets Ebo (Leslie Odom Jr.), a musician and DJ who helps her find her own voice. With his help, Zu begins to express herself through music and dance. As Zu and Ebo’s relationship grows, Zu learns to find joy and healing in her newfound passion.
The film follows Zu’s journey of self-discovery and healing, as she learns to cope with her mother’s death and find her own voice. Along the way, she discovers the power of music and its ability to bring people together.
