Synopsis/Plot

Muppets Most Wanted is a 2014 American musical comedy film, and the eighth theatrical film featuring the Muppets. Directed by James Bobin and written by Bobin and Nicholas Stoller, the film is a sequel to the 2011 film The Muppets and stars Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell, and Tina Fey, as well as Muppet performers Steve Whitmire, Eric Jacobson, Dave Goelz, Bill Barretta, David Rudman, Matt Vogel, and Peter Linz.

The film follows the Muppets on a European tour, selling out grand theaters in Berlin, Madrid, Dublin, and London. They are pursued by a mysterious criminal mastermind named Constantine—the world’s most dangerous frog—and his sidekick Dominic, who is bent on stealing the Muppets’ priceless stolen diamond.

The Muppets find themselves in a series of misadventures, including an elaborate heist of the Tower of London, a madcap chase through the streets of Madrid, and a daring escape from a maximum-security Russian gulag.
