Synopsis – What to Expect from “Mo’ Money”
Mo’ Money is a 1992 American comedy crime film directed by Peter Macdonald and starring Damon Wayans, Stacey Dash, and Marlon Wayans. The film follows the story of two brothers, John and Billy (Damon and Marlon Wayans), who are living in the projects of Chicago and struggling to make ends meet.
John and Billy are constantly getting into trouble with the law, and their father is fed up with their antics. He sends them to stay with their uncle Ray, who lives in the suburbs. Ray is a successful businessman and he teaches the boys the importance of hard work and the value of money.
John and Billy take Ray’s advice to heart and decide to start a business. They devise a scheme to rob a credit card company, and they hire a couple of friends to help them. The plan seems to be going well until the boys get caught and are sent to jail.
In jail, John meets a con artist named Mo (Stacey Dash). She helps him escape, and the two of them go on the run. They soon find themselves in the middle of a dangerous game of cat and mouse as they are pursued by the police, the FBI, and a dangerous criminal gang.
John and Mo must rely on their wits and each other to survive. Along the way, they discover the true value of money and the importance of friendship. In the end, they come to realize that money isn’t everything
