Synopsis/Plot
Misconduct is a 2016 American legal thriller film directed by Shintaro Shimosawa and written by Simon Boyes and Adam Mason. The film stars Anthony Hopkins, Al Pacino, Josh Duhamel, Alice Eve, Malin Akerman, Byung-hun Lee, and Julia Stiles.
Misconduct follows the story of ambitious lawyer Ben (Josh Duhamel) who is offered a job at a prestigious law firm. His boss, Arthur Denning (Anthony Hopkins), assigns him to a case involving the murder of a young woman and the subsequent cover-up by a powerful pharmaceutical company. In the course of his investigation, Ben discovers that Denning may be involved in a larger conspiracy. With the help of his colleagues, Ben must dig deep to uncover the truth and bring justice to the victim’s family.
The film is a gripping exploration of power, greed, and corruption. It examines the human cost of corporate greed and the lengths some people will go to protect their interests. With twists and turns at every corner, the film builds to a thrilling climax as Ben and his team race to uncover the truth before it is too late.
