Synopsis/Plot
Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates is a 2016 American comedy film directed by Jake Szymanski and written by Andrew Jay Cohen and Brendan O’Brien. The film stars Zac Efron, Adam Devine, Anna Kendrick, and Aubrey Plaza as the main cast.
The story follows Mike and Dave Stangle, two brothers who are notorious party animals. After their sister’s wedding, they are told by their parents to bring respectable dates to their next family gathering, a destination wedding in Hawaii. The brothers decide to put an ad on Craigslist to find dates.
The ad goes viral, and the brothers are inundated with responses. They finally settle on Alice and Tatiana, two wild and crazy party girls. Little do they know, Alice and Tatiana are only pretending to be wild and crazy to get a free vacation to Hawaii.
Once in Hawaii, the brothers’ plan to keep their dates under control backfires. Alice and Tatiana are determined to make the most of their vacation, and the brothers soon find themselves in over their heads. As they try to keep the girls under control, they all end up in a series of outrageous situations.
