Synopsis/Plot
Michael Jackson’s Thriller is a classic horror-themed music video, released in 1983. Directed by John Landis, the 14-minute long video is widely regarded as one of the most influential music videos of all time. It stars Michael Jackson as a young man who is transformed into a terrifying werewolf-like creature. The video follows Jackson as he is pursued by a horde of zombies, with a soundtrack of his hit song “Thriller” playing in the background.
The video begins with Michael and his girlfriend, played by Ola Ray, walking through a graveyard on a date. Suddenly, a mysterious figure appears and casts a spell on Michael, transforming him into a werewolf-like creature. Michael then begins to dance and the zombies join in. The video then features a number of iconic scenes, including Michael and the zombies doing the iconic “Thriller” dance, Michael and Ola Ray dancing together, and Michael and the zombies performing a choreographed routine.
The video ends with Michael returning to his normal self and walking away with Ola Ray, as the zombies look on. The video was a major success, winning three MTV Video Music Awards and becoming the first music
