Synopsis/Plot
Miami Vice is a 2006 crime drama movie directed by Michael Mann and starring Jamie Foxx and Colin Farrell as undercover detectives Ricardo Tubbs and Sonny Crockett. Set in the gritty and glamorous Miami of the late 1980s, the movie follows Tubbs and Crockett as they go undercover to infiltrate the city’s drug trade and take down a powerful drug lord.
The movie begins with Tubbs and Crockett working together to bust a drug deal, but they soon realize they are dealing with a much larger criminal network. The two detectives team up with a local informant, Isabella, to investigate the drug trade and take down the kingpin. As they get closer to the truth, they find themselves in increasingly dangerous situations, and they must rely on each other to survive.
The movie is filled with action and suspense as Tubbs and Crockett battle their way through the city’s criminal underworld. Along the way, they uncover a massive conspiracy involving corrupt government officials, drug cartels, and powerful crime families. The two detectives must use all of their skills and resources to bring down the criminals and restore justice to the city.
