Synopsis – What to Expect from “Men of War”
Men of War is an action-packed war drama that follows a group of Vietnam War veterans, led by Sergeant Major “Sarge” Davis (Dolph Lundgren). After their tour of duty, the men are reunited and sent on a mission to rescue a group of American POWs held captive in a secret jungle camp by a renegade General.
The men must battle their way through the jungle and face off against the General’s forces. Along the way, they run into a group of women who have been enslaved by the General and must rescue them too. After a series of intense firefights, the men succeed in rescuing the POWs and the women, and they return to the US.
However, the mission has taken its toll on the men, and they find that they are no longer the same people they were before the war. They must now confront their own inner demons and come to terms with their experiences in Vietnam.
The film follows the men’s journey as they struggle to cope with the aftermath of war and find a way to move forward with their lives. It is a powerful and emotional story of heroism, courage, and friendship.
