Synopsis – What to Expect from “Men at Work”
Men at Work is a 1990 American comedy film directed by Emilio Estevez and starring Charlie Sheen, Emilio Estevez, and Leslie Hope.
The film follows two friends, Carl (Charlie Sheen) and James (Emilio Estevez), who work as garbage men in Los Angeles. They are content with their lives until they become aware of a shady real estate developer’s plans to bulldoze their favorite hangout spot. The two friends decide to take action and try to prevent the demolition.
In order to stop the developer, they enlist the help of their friend, Milo (Keith David), who works as a security guard at the site. With his help, they come up with a plan to sabotage the demolition. They enlist the help of their other friends, including a demolition expert, to help them carry out their plan.
Meanwhile, the developer is determined to go ahead with the demolition and hires a ruthless private investigator to find out who is behind the sabotage. As the investigation progresses, the friends must come up with increasingly daring stunts to prevent the demolition.
The friends eventually succeed in their mission, but not without facing some serious consequences. In the end, they learn the importance of friendship and the power of standing up for what you believe in.
