Synopsis – What to Expect from “Meet the Feebles”
Meet The Feebles is a cult classic black comedy musical film released in 1989 and written and directed by Peter Jackson.
The movie follows the misadventures of the Feebles, a troupe of animals who perform in a variety show. The troupe includes a megalomaniacal frog, a drug-addicted hippo, a fox with a gambling problem, a suicidal fly, a vain vulture, a bitter old rat, a depressed hedgehog, a nervous rabbit, a scheming cat and a worm who plays piano.
The troupe’s leader, Robert the Frog, is a former star of the show who has grown increasingly egotistical and paranoid. He is determined to make the show a success, but his plans are constantly thwarted by the other members of the troupe.
The troupe’s fortunes take a turn for the worse when Robert hires a sleazy photographer to take pictures of the Feebles for a calendar. The photographer turns out to be a serial killer who drugs the Feebles and uses them for his own twisted ends.
The Feebles are left in a state of chaos and it is up to Robert to save the show and the Feebles from destruction. With the help of his friends, Robert must find a way to put an end to the photographer’s reign of terror and restore the Feebles’ show to its former glory.
