Synopsis – What to Expect from “Mad Dog and Glory”
Mad Dog and Glory is a 1993 American comedy-drama film directed by John McNaughton and starring Robert De Niro, Uma Thurman, and Bill Murray.
The movie follows the story of a timid Chicago police photographer, Frank Milo (Robert De Niro), who is caught in the middle of a gang war between two rival mobsters. After saving the life of one of them, Wayne Dobie (Bill Murray), he is rewarded with a week of the company of Glory (Uma Thurman), a beautiful young woman who is also Wayne’s girlfriend.
Frank is initially overwhelmed by Glory’s beauty and finds himself in a situation he never expected to be in. He is both excited and nervous, but eventually he and Glory form a strong bond. As the week progresses, Frank begins to realize that he is falling in love with Glory and his feelings are reciprocated.
Meanwhile, the gang war between Wayne and his rival, Mad Dog (David Caruso), is escalating and Frank is caught in the middle. He must decide whether to stay and fight for the woman he loves or to flee and save his own life.
As the situation becomes more dangerous, Frank must find a way to protect Glory and himself from Mad Dog and his goons. In the end, Frank must decide if he is willing to risk his life for the woman he loves or if he will let her go.
