Synopsis/Plot
Mac and Me is a family-friendly comedy adventure from 1988. The movie follows the story of a young alien creature named Mac (Jade Calegory), who is stranded on Earth after his spaceship crash lands. He meets a young boy named Eric Cruise (Jade Calegory) and his family, who take him in and help him try to find a way back home. Along the way, they encounter a variety of obstacles, including a mysterious government agency that is trying to capture Mac.
The movie features a number of slapstick comedy sequences, as well as a number of musical numbers. Mac and Eric also discover a variety of new friends, including a group of aliens who are also stranded on Earth. Together, they all work together to help Mac find his way back home.
The movie was directed by Stewart Raffill and produced by Raffill and R.J. Louis. It stars Jade Calegory, Christine Ebersole, Jonathan Ward, Katrina Caspary, and Lauren Stanley. It was released on August 5, 1988 and grossed over $6 million at the box office.
