Synopsis – What to Expect from “Lucky Day”
Lucky Day is an action-packed crime thriller set in the gritty underworld of Los Angeles. The film follows Red (Luke Bracey), a small-time criminal who is on the run from a notorious crime boss, Mr. Hector (Norman Reedus). Red is desperate to make a fresh start and reunite with his estranged wife and daughter.
Red’s luck turns when he finds a mysterious briefcase filled with cash. With the money, Red is able to make a new life for himself and his family. However, his newfound fortune quickly catches the attention of his former employer, Mr. Hector. Red must now fight for his life as Mr. Hector and his henchmen are determined to get the money back and take revenge on Red.
Red teams up with a group of fellow criminals, including his old friend Charlie (Clancy Brown) and a mysterious French hitman (Roger Guenveur Smith). Together, they must use all their skills and resources to stay one step ahead of Mr. Hector and his gang.
As the stakes get higher and the body count rises, Red and his team must use their wits and courage to outsmart their enemies and survive the night. With one wrong move, their luck could run out and they could end up on the wrong side of the law. Will Red and his team make it out alive or will their luck run out?
