Synopsis/Plot
Look Who’s Talking is a 1989 romantic comedy directed by Amy Heckerling and starring John Travolta and Kirstie Alley. The film follows Mollie (Alley), a single mother who is struggling to make ends meet. She meets and falls in love with taxi driver James (Travolta) and the two soon become a couple. However, Mollie’s son Mikey (voiced by Bruce Willis) is not happy with the relationship and does everything he can to break them up.
The movie follows the couple as they try to make their relationship work despite Mikey’s antics. Along the way, the audience is given a unique insight into Mikey’s thoughts and feelings as he narrates the movie in a series of hilarious monologues. As the story progresses, Mikey’s antics become increasingly outrageous as he attempts to sabotage his mother’s relationship with James.
