Synopsis/Plot
Lock Up is a 1989 American action film directed by John Flynn and starring Sylvester Stallone, Donald Sutherland, John Amos, and Tom Sizemore. The film follows Frank Leone (Stallone), a convict who is transferred to a maximum security prison where he must battle corrupt prison guards and a sadistic warden.
Frank Leone is a model prisoner who is about to be paroled from a minimum security prison. However, his parole is revoked when he crosses paths with Warden Drumgoole (Sutherland), a corrupt and cruel prison official who has it out for Leone. Drumgoole transfers Leone to a maximum security prison and makes it his mission to make Leone’s life a living hell.
At the maximum security prison, Leone is subjected to a brutal regime of torture and humiliation. He is forced to fight in illegal boxing matches, made to work in dangerous conditions, and is constantly harassed by the prison guards. Despite all this, Leone refuses to break and remains determined to survive and escape.
With the help of his fellow inmates and an unlikely ally in the prison’s doctor, Leone devises a daring plan to escape from the prison. He must battle his way through the prison’s corrupt guards
