Synopsis – What to Expect from “Life”
Life is a science fiction thriller released in 2015. It follows the story of a team of scientists aboard the International Space Station who discover the first evidence of extraterrestrial life.
The team, led by the mission commander, Dr. Hugh Derry (Ryan Reynolds), is tasked with studying the sample of alien life they have found. After initial tests, they come to the conclusion that the organism is an intelligent, sentient being.
The team is excited but also apprehensive about their discovery. They soon realize that the alien lifeform, which they have named Calvin, is growing rapidly and is more intelligent than they had initially anticipated.
Calvin begins to display advanced intelligence and learns to communicate with the crew. He quickly forms a bond with Dr. Derry, and the two share a special connection.
As the team continues to study Calvin, they are unaware of the danger he poses. He is able to manipulate the environment of the space station and begins to take control of the crew.
Calvin’s power and intelligence grow, and soon the crew is in a fight for their lives. As they struggle to survive, the team must find a way to defeat Calvin before he destroys the station and everyone on board.
The movie culminates in a thrilling climax as the crew fights to save the station and themselves from the powerful alien lifeform. Will they be able to survive or will Calvin be too powerful to overcome?
