Synopsis/Plot
Lethal Weapon 3 is the third installment in the popular Lethal Weapon franchise. The movie follows Detectives Martin Riggs (Mel Gibson) and Roger Murtaugh (Danny Glover) as they investigate a series of robberies. During their investigation, they uncover a major arms-dealing operation run by a former police officer, Jack Travis (Stuart Wilson).
Riggs and Murtaugh enlist the help of Internal Affairs Officer Lorna Cole (Rene Russo) to help them bring down the arms-dealing operation. As the investigation progresses, they discover that Travis is planning to sell a large number of weapons to a group of criminals.
Meanwhile, Riggs and Murtaugh must also deal with personal issues. Riggs is trying to come to terms with his wife’s death, while Murtaugh is struggling with the impending arrival of his daughter’s baby.
In the end, Riggs and Murtaugh are able to bring down the arms-dealing operation and put an end to Travis’ criminal activities. The movie ends with Riggs and Murtaugh celebrating their victory with a toast.
