Leaves of Grass is a 2009 American comedy-drama film written and directed by Tim Blake Nelson.
The film follows two identical twins, Bill and Brady Kincaid (both played by Edward Norton), who have been estranged for many years. Bill is an Ivy League professor who leads a seemingly perfect life in New England, while Brady is a small-time marijuana grower living in Oklahoma.
When Brady is diagnosed with a terminal illness, he sends for Bill to come to Oklahoma to help him with his final wishes. While Bill is in Oklahoma, he is mistaken for Brady by a local drug lord, who forces him to help him with a major drug deal.
Bill is forced to take on Brady’s identity and gets caught up in a dangerous underworld of drug trafficking and murder. As he tries to find a way out of his predicament, he discovers a world of unexpected beauty and friendship, and ultimately finds a way to reunite with his brother.
The film follows Bill and Brady as they reconcile their differences and come to terms with their past. As they learn to accept each other, they become closer and begin to understand the importance of family.
