Synopsis/Plot
Last Man Standing is a 1996 action-drama film starring Bruce Willis and directed by Walter Hill. The film follows John Smith (Willis), a professional hitman who is double-crossed by his employer and left for dead. After surviving his ordeal, Smith embarks on a mission of revenge against the people who betrayed him.
The film opens with Smith in the middle of a gun battle with his former employer. After being shot multiple times, Smith manages to escape the scene and make his way to a small Texas town. There, he meets a local woman named Sarah (Nastassja Kinski) who takes him in and helps him recover.
As Smith heals, he begins to plot his revenge against the people who betrayed him. He discovers that his former employer is part of a powerful criminal syndicate and sets out to take them down. He teams up with a former police officer (William Sanderson) who is also out for revenge against the syndicate.
The two men battle their way through the syndicate, taking out their enemies one by one. In the end, Smith is the only one left standing and is able to take out the syndicate’s leader.
