Synopsis – What to Expect from “Lady in White”
Lady in White is a 1988 supernatural mystery-thriller movie directed by Frank LaLoggia. The film is set in 1962 in a small New York town and follows the story of young Frankie Scarlatti, who is locked in his school’s coatroom overnight on Halloween. While in the coatroom, Frankie witnesses the ghost of a young girl named Linda, who was murdered years before.
Frankie soon discovers that he has the ability to see and communicate with the ghosts of other murdered children. With the help of his father, Frankie begins to investigate the mystery of Linda’s death and the other unsolved child murders in the town. As he digs deeper, he finds out that the town has a dark history of child abductions and murders, and that Linda’s killer is still at large.
Frankie also discovers that the ghosts of the murdered children are trying to guide him to the killer. As he gets closer to the truth, he is stalked by the killer and must fight to protect himself and his family. In the end, Frankie is able to uncover the killer’s identity and bring justice to the murdered children.
