Synopsis – What to Expect from “Knight Rider 2000”
Knight Rider 2000 is a 1991 American made-for-television action film based on the 1982–1986 television series Knight Rider. The film stars David Hasselhoff, Patricia McPherson, Bruce Davison, and Edward Mulhare.
The film begins in the year 2000, where the world is in chaos. Crime is rampant, and the police are unable to keep up. To combat this, a new program is created: Knight Industries Two Thousand, or KITT. KITT is a highly advanced, artificially intelligent car with a personality, designed to fight crime and protect the public.
KITT is given to Michael Knight (David Hasselhoff), a former police officer, to help him fight crime. Michael is also given a new partner, Dr. Bonnie Barstow (Patricia McPherson), an expert in artificial intelligence. Together, they set out to take down the criminal organization responsible for the chaos and destruction in the world.
Michael and Bonnie soon discover that the organization is led by the mysterious Devon Miles (Edward Mulhare), a powerful and wealthy businessman. Devon is working with a group of powerful people to create a new world order, and he will stop at nothing to achieve his goals.
