Synopsis – What to Expect from “King Cobra”
King Cobra is a 2016 American biographical crime drama film written and directed by Justin Kelly. The film stars Garrett Clayton, Christian Slater, and James Franco.
The film tells the story of the rise and fall of Brent Corrigan, a young adult gay porn star who became a media sensation overnight. In 2006, Stephen Kocsi and Joseph Kerekes, two rival porn producers, vie for control of Brent’s career. When Brent decides to break away from Kocsi and join Kerekes, a violent feud erupts, leading to murder.
The film begins with Brent Corrigan (Garrett Clayton) as a young adult making his way in the world of adult entertainment. He is quickly discovered by porn producer Stephen Kocsi (Christian Slater), who takes Brent in and helps him become a star. Kocsi’s rival, Joseph Kerekes (James Franco), is also interested in Brent and offers him a more lucrative deal. Brent decides to go with Kerekes, which leads to a rivalry between Kocsi and Kerekes.
The feud between the two porn producers escalates and leads to violence. Kerekes hires a hit man to kill Kocsi, and the hit man succeeds. Kerekes is arrested and sentenced to life in prison.
Brent is left to deal with the aftermath of the feud and the death of his mentor. He is also faced with the realization that he has been used
