Synopsis/Plot
King Arthur is a 2004 action-adventure film directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by David Franzoni. The film stars Clive Owen as the title character, Ioan Gruffudd as Lancelot, and Keira Knightley as Guinevere.
The story follows Arthur, a young warlord in fifth-century Britain who is forced to make a fateful decision to either defend his homeland against a powerful invading army or stay with his love, Guinevere. He chooses the former, and with the help of his loyal knights, he leads his people in a desperate battle against the foreign forces. With the odds stacked against them, Arthur and his knights must fight for their lives and protect their kingdom.
The film is an adaptation of the legendary Arthurian legend, and it features spectacular action sequences, intense battle scenes, and a sweeping musical score. Along with its thrilling action, the film also offers a compelling story of love, courage, and loyalty.
