Synopsis/Plot
Killer Klowns from Outer Space is a 1988 American science fiction horror comedy film written and directed by Stephen Chiodo. The film follows a group of teenagers who discover an alien race of clown-like creatures who have arrived on Earth to capture and harvest people in order to use their life essence to fuel their spaceship and return home.
The story begins with Mike Tobacco and his girlfriend Debbie Stone, who witness a strange object falling from the sky near a local amusement park. When they investigate, they discover a circus tent-like spacecraft, and inside they find a group of alien clowns who are harvesting people with various circus-themed weapons and storing them in cotton candy cocoons.
The teens soon realize that the clowns are not just here to have fun, but to take over the world. With the help of a friendly police officer, they set out to save the town from the alien menace.
The movie features a variety of gory special effects, including exploding heads, giant spider webs, and a giant balloon animal. The clowns themselves are also quite menacing, with their evil laughter and menacing expressions.
Killer Klowns from Outer Space is a fun and campy horror-com
