Synopsis/Plot
Kidnapping Mr. Heineken is a 2015 crime thriller film directed by Daniel Alfredson and written by William Brookfield. The film stars Anthony Hopkins, Sam Worthington, Jim Sturgess, and Ryan Kwanten.
The film tells the story of a group of childhood friends who decide to kidnap the wealthy Dutch beer tycoon Freddy Heineken (Hopkins) in 1983. The group, led by Cor Van Hout (Worthington) and Willem Holleeder (Sturgess), plan the kidnapping meticulously and manage to keep Heineken in captivity for three weeks.
