Synopsis/Plot
Kickboxer is a 1989 American martial arts action film directed by Mark DiSalle and David Worth, and starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, Dennis Alexio, Dennis Chan, Michel Qissi, Haskell V. Anderson III, and Rochelle Ashana.
The film follows Kurt Sloane, a young and talented kickboxer from Los Angeles who travels to Thailand to avenge the death of his brother, Eric, who was killed in the ring by a ruthless Muay Thai champion, Tong Po. With the help of his trainer, Xian Chow, Kurt must overcome his fear and become a master of the art of Muay Thai in order to defeat Tong Po and avenge his brother’s death.
