Synopsis/Plot
Kickboxer 2: The Road Back is a 1991 martial arts action film directed by Albert Pyun and starring Sasha Mitchell, Peter Boyle, and Dennis Chan. The film is a sequel to the 1989 film Kickboxer.
The film follows David Sloan (Sasha Mitchell), a martial arts champion who is determined to avenge the death of his brother Kurt, who was killed in a fight against Tong Po (Michel Qissi) in the first film. After training with his mentor Xian Chow (Dennis Chan), David takes on the challenge of competing in a martial arts tournament in Thailand in order to face off against Tong Po and avenge his brother’s death.
Along the way, David meets a variety of characters including a beautiful female kickboxer (Sally Kirkland), a mysterious old man (Peter Boyle) who helps to train him, and a young street fighter (Kane Kosugi) who is eager to prove himself in the tournament. As the tournament progresses, David must face off against increasingly powerful opponents, and he must rely on his skill and determination to survive the tournament and take revenge on Tong Po.
