Synopsis/Plot
Justice League: Gods and Monsters is an animated feature film released in 2015. It is a re-imagining of the Justice League, with a darker and more mature tone. The story begins with a world in chaos, as the Justice League is seen as a threat to humanity due to their immense power. In order to protect the world, the League is forced to take drastic measures, including killing those who oppose them.
The film follows three of the League’s members: Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman. This new version of Superman is a hybrid of Kryptonian and human DNA, while Wonder Woman is a New God from Apokolips, and Batman is a vampire. These three heroes must team up to protect the world from a powerful, alien threat.
The movie is filled with action and adventure, as the League must battle a variety of powerful foes, including the monstrous Doomsday, the alien conqueror Steppenwolf, and the powerful Darkseid. Along the way, the League must also face off against the government, who are determined to control the League and use them as weapons.
