Synopsis/Plot
Joy Ride is an action-packed thriller about three friends who embark on a road trip across the country. The three friends, Lewis Thomas, Venna Wilcox, and Fuller Thomas, are on a mission to deliver a classic car to their friend in California. Along the way, they find themselves the targets of a murderous trucker, Rusty Nail. As the trio winds their way through the country, their lives become intertwined in a deadly game of cat and mouse.
The movie begins with Lewis, Venna, and Fuller driving through the desert in a vintage Mustang. As they drive, they come across a mysterious trucker, Rusty Nail, who seems to be following them. The trio soon discovers that Rusty Nail has been tracking them and is out for revenge. Rusty Nail is a dangerous and ruthless killer who will stop at nothing to get what he wants.
The friends must use all their wits and courage to outwit Rusty Nail and survive their journey. Along the way, they encounter a variety of characters, from a friendly trucker who helps them to a group of bikers who threaten to do them harm.
