Synopsis – What to Expect from “Joshua”
Joshua is a psychological thriller that follows the life of a young boy who is struggling to deal with his parents’ divorce and the subsequent move to a new home.
Joshua (Jacob Kogan) is a precocious nine-year-old who is trying to make sense of the world around him. His parents, Brad (Sam Rockwell) and Abigail (Vera Farmiga), are in the midst of a bitter divorce. As a result, Joshua and his younger sister, Lily (Rory Culkin), are forced to move into a new home with their father.
At first, Joshua tries to make the best of his new situation, but it soon becomes clear that his father is not the loving parent he once was. Brad is distant and aloof, and Joshua soon finds himself struggling to connect with his father.
