John Wick Chapter 2: Wick-vizzed is the second installment of the John Wick franchise, and it picks up shortly after the events of the first movie. John Wick (Keanu Reeves) is a retired hitman who is forced out of retirement by a former associate who is seeking to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild.
John travels to Rome, where he is to meet with the leader of the guild, Santino D’Antonio (Riccardo Scamarcio). Santino offers John a chance to repay a debt he owes by assassinating Santino’s sister, Gianna D’Antonio (Claudia Gerini). John reluctantly agrees, but soon finds himself hunted by Gianna’s bodyguards, a powerful and mysterious figure known as the “Sommelier” (Laurence Fishburne), and a variety of other assassins.
John is able to defeat his pursuers and successfully complete his mission, but in the process, he incurs the wrath of the guild and finds himself the target of a massive bounty. With the help of an old friend, Cassian (Common), John embarks on a mission to take out the guild and clear his name. Along the way, he faces off against a variety of dangerous adversaries, including a powerful crime lord (Peter Stormare) and a relentless bounty hunter (Ruby Rose).
