Synopsis/Plot
Joe Dirt is a 2001 American adventure comedy film starring David Spade as the titular character, an oblivious and unfortunate white-trash janitor. Joe Dirt is a naïve and clumsy white trash janitor with a mullet hairdo, acid-washed jeans, and a dream to find his parents, who abandoned him when he was eight years old. The film follows Joe’s misadventures as he embarks on a journey to track down his parents. Along the way, he meets an array of colorful characters, including a sleazy radio DJ (Dennis Miller) and a kind-hearted woman (Brittany Daniel) who helps him on his quest.
Joe Dirt’s journey takes him from the Midwest to Los Angeles, where he encounters a variety of strange and wonderful people. He is pursued by a mysterious and powerful figure known as “The Kid” (Christopher Walken), who is determined to find Joe’s parents before he does. As Joe’s search continues, he finds himself in a number of humorous situations and discovers the true meaning of friendship and family.
