Synopsis/Plot
Jaws: The Revenge is a 1987 American horror-thriller film directed by Joseph Sargent and starring Lorraine Gary, Lance Guest, Mario Van Peebles, and Michael Caine. The film is the fourth and final installment in the Jaws film series, and is the only film in the series not to be directed by Steven Spielberg.
The film follows Ellen Brody, the widow of police chief Martin Brody, who is still haunted by the events of the first two films. Seeking to escape her emotional pain, Ellen and her family decide to take a vacation to the Bahamas. Unfortunately, the vacation takes a turn for the worse when a large great white shark begins to stalk the family.
Ellen soon discovers that the shark is actually targeting her, and is seeking revenge for the deaths of its predecessors. With the help of her son, a local fisherman, and a marine biologist, Ellen sets out to take down the shark and end the cycle of revenge.
The film has been widely panned for its poor script, acting, and special effects. Despite this, Jaws: The Revenge has become a cult classic, and has gained a cult following over the years.
