Synopsis/Plot
Jaws 2 is a 1978 American horror thriller film directed by Jeannot Szwarc and the sequel to the 1975 film Jaws. It stars Roy Scheider as Police Chief Martin Brody, Lorraine Gary as his wife Ellen Brody, and Murray Hamilton as Mayor Larry Vaughn.
The film opens with a group of teenagers on a boat party off the coast of Amity Island, unaware that a great white shark is stalking them. When the shark attacks and kills one of the teens, Chief Brody is called in to investigate. He soon discovers that the shark is the same one that terrorized the island four years prior.
With the help of oceanographer Matt Hooper, Brody sets out to track the shark and stop it from killing again. Meanwhile, Mayor Vaughn is reluctant to close the beaches, as he fears it will hurt the local economy. However, when the shark strikes again, Brody and Hooper take matters into their own hands and set out to hunt the shark.
The film follows the two as they battle the shark in a thrilling, suspenseful battle of man versus beast. Along the way, they must also battle the mayor and his cronies who are determined to keep the beaches
