Synopsis/Plot
Jack Frost is a 1998 American comedy-drama fantasy film starring Michael Keaton as the title character, a father who is reincarnated into a snowman after a tragic accident. The film follows Jack Frost’s journey as he attempts to reconnect with his family, particularly his son, Charlie (Joseph Cross).
The film begins with Jack Frost, a successful musician, traveling to a remote cabin in the woods for a winter vacation with his family. On the way, Jack’s car slides off the icy road, killing him instantly.
Devastated, Jack’s family returns home without him. One year later, Jack’s spirit returns to the cabin as a snowman, brought to life by the magical snowfall that blankets the area.
Jack quickly learns that his son Charlie is having difficulty coping with his death, and he sets out to make things right. With the help of his friend, the local snowman-maker, Jack sets out to show Charlie the power of family and love.
Jack and Charlie form a special bond as they embark on a series of adventures, from skiing to sledding to building snowmen. Along the way, Jack helps Charlie to open up and heal from his loss.
