Synopsis – What to Expect from “It Came from the Desert”
It Came from the Desert is a 2017 horror-comedy film that follows the story of a group of teenage friends in the small desert town of Lizard Breath, Nevada.
The group of friends, led by the adventurous Mike (Mark Arnold) and his girlfriend Jenny (Vanessa Grasse), decide to explore the nearby abandoned military base, which is rumored to be haunted. Little do they know that the base is actually a secret government research facility that has been experimenting on giant ants.
When the ants escape, the town of Lizard Breath is thrown into chaos as the giant ants wreak havoc on the unsuspecting citizens. Mike and Jenny must team up with the eccentric Professor Bensington (Harry Lister Smith) to save the town from the giant ants.
The group soon discovers that the ants have a hive mind and are controlled by a mysterious queen. With the help of the professor’s inventions, they must battle the giant ants and the queen in order to save the town.
